Guess what? I have another giveaway for you dog lovers. I was very excited to find Little Paws Apparel because I have searched and search for a dog vest since last fall. Our dogs love to chase things and it is almost impossible to walk them using just a collar. Last fall Snickers (pictured below) went to chase something while we were walking him and he pulled so hard he got sick. We did not take him out walking again (other than in our yard) because we felt like it was too hard on him for the collar to be pulling on him. I searched and searched for a harness at the stores but nothing looked comfortable for them and I was shocked at the cost of them.

When I found Little Paws Apparel I couldn't believe they only charged $10-$11 for these very cute harnesses that actually looked comfortable for the dogs.

Little Paws Apparel sent the one pictured on Snickers above for me to try out and I liked it sooooo much that I ordered Kai Kai one too.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much easier it is to take the dogs out now! Even my husband doesn't mind taking them out now and he really did not like taking them out before because they chase everything. The dogs seem to like them too and it doesn't bother them at all.

How long has your Etsy shop been open? I have been selling on Ebay since June of 2003 and Etsy since March of 2009. I started making the harnesses for my little dog when I was having a difficult time finding cute and comfortable clothes for him. We used a harness to walk him but I wanted to be able to put a coat on him when it was cold so I had the idea to put a d-ring harness strap on a coat so he wouldn't need the traditional harness. People asked about them, so I started up my Ebay store, and have since branched out into vests, dresses and hair bows.



Can you explain the difference a harness makes when walking a dog? The harnesses are good for little dogs because using a collar can put a lot of pressure on their necks. The harness vest is a great alternative to a collar and much more stylish too. What little dog wouldn't want to be fashionable and make a statement while out and about? The coats are great during the colder months, as it keeps them warm while out doing their business. Plus it's so easy, you just attach your leash to the d-ring and you're ready to go. Most of the coats are made in warmer fabrics like fleece or flannel and the vests are made of cotton fabric.

What size dogs do you make these for? I make these for small breeds of dogs weighing under 20 pounds. They come in four sizes, ranging from xs to large.
