Today I want to introduce you to a shop called The Purple Tangerine. I actually heard of playsilks for the first time a few months ago and I was so excited when The Purple Tangerine sent us one to try.

The colors of the playsilks are so beautiful! I let my 6 year old play with it first because she is so creative and I knew she would fall in love with it. Within minutes it was a skirt, a hat, fairy wings, she became a dancer and she pretended to be a baby holding a blankie. As a mom I love nothing more than a simple toy that let's her use her imagination and these are perfect for that.

When did you open your Etsy shop? We just had our 1 year birthday May 16th!

Can you tell us a little about yourself? Kate and I (stefanie) are two moms between the two of us we have 6 kids ranging from 11 months - 11 years. We live in a small town and love it!

Can you explain to my readers about the different ways children can use playsilks? Kids uses them as baby blankets, super hero capes, shooting stars and I have even seen it used as a pony mane! The possibilities are as limitless as a child's imagination! And YES your child WILL play with them! I have found they are one of the toys that stand the test of time as well as my child's short attention span, when it comes to the latest and greatest toy. The best part is they don't take batteries!
