Giveaway from Trading Phrases (this giveaway is now closed)

OK, I know this isn't an Etsy shop but the description of my blog says "anything my little heart desires" and I am totally in love with the shop Trading Phrases so I contacted them to see if they would let me feature their shop on my blog.

Trading Phrases wrote right back excited to be featured and they were kind enough to send me the wall decal pictured below. Doesn't it look nice? That is my wall and I put it up myself! OK, I didn't completely put it up myself but almost.

Let me tell you what happened. The night before I laid it out on the table with books on top of it to flatten it all out. I woke up the next morning so excited to put this on my wall. I found some time when my two 4 year olds were playing nicely in the room next to me. It was going up so easy and I was getting so excited to see the backing coming off of it and then I heard some screaming. One of my 4 year olds had hit the other 4 year old with something and well, I had to leave the decal half way hung and make a trip to the ER for some glue on the cut.



I was so worried (my son was fine) that the decal wouldn't work right when I got home. My husband actually finished it before I got home but 2 hours after I walked away from it and he said the backing came off really easy and it stuck perfect. I was so excited to see the finished product when I walked in the front door.

I don't recommend doing this but this tells you how good of a product it is that even after the 2 hours of walking away from it that it still did wonderfully.

Now let's back up just a little. When I received my package from Trading Phrases it also included 2 small decals. They send you one promotional decal and 1 to practice on before you put your big one up.

The package comes with very easy to read instructions and really, I think about anyone could put these up. Did I mention that they are so much cheaper than buying art pieces for your wall? They even have directions for easy removal if you get tired of them or decide your ready for another decal.
