Giveaway by Shaping Lives Pottery!!! (This Giveaway Is Now Over)

I am sooooo excited about this giveaway and this is why:

1. I have a thing for handmade pottery. If I am anywhere and someone is selling handmade pottery I just have to stop and look.

2. This Etsy shop is by a TEEN with an amazing talent.

3. The owner of this shop has a huge heart for the orphan.

I now get to introduce you to Mallory from Shaping Lives Pottery. Please take time to read her interview because you will not want to miss what she has to say (you may also need to know something for an entry at the end).

When did you open your Etsy shop? I started my etsy in August of 2009, and I have had a great experience since.

I noticed in the profile of your shop that you donate a portion of your sales to a family adopting. How has adoption touched your life? Adoption has really touched my life because my little brother is adopted. My mom felt God's call to adopt years ago and really felt called to children with special needs. My dad wasn't on board at first but over time and lots of prayer my dad felt the call from God also. We have actually had a really rough adoption road. We were in the middle of an international adoption for a little girl in the Ukraine when we got a call about a little boy (my brother) here in the states. My parents were not pursuing a domestic adoption at all. They prayed about this little boy and felt God's call to say "yes" and adopt him. He is from Florida and has Down Syndrome. Well my parents then continued with the Ukraine adoption and when they actually got to Ukraine and met her there were alot more disabilities and problems my parents didn't know about. They prayed and prayed and couldn't understand why but decided not to adopt the little girl. She would have needed 24 hour care and that wouldn't be fair to the rest of us kids. So they came home and a couple days after they came home found out the little girl had another family and they were going to get her in March We felt that God used my parents to keep that little girl safe and out of an institution for the family that is really supposed to be her family. My parents know God had had and has a plan for our family. We pray we will be able to adopt again soon, and that God will use our family as a testimony for those children. God bless!

Can you tell me how old you are? I have recently turned 17, but started pottery when I was 7 and have done it on and off until recently (the past 2 years).

What is your favorite item in your shop? Actually I have a couple of favorite items. Some I have chosen to keep for my family and I, but my favorite pieces in the shop right now would have to be the three little boxes. They are so cute and I could see them holding spices or something in the kitchen.

I also saw in your profile that you have another Etsy shop called Sweet Potato Sacks. Can you tell me a little about your other shop? My other etsy is a store I have had for awhile and put things that aren't pottery that I make. I have recently started the flower brooches and headbands. My style is very vintage/romantic and I think each flower has a little bit of "me" in them. I love to keep my creative side going so I am constantly starting new project. This is my favorite (besides pottery)so far. I hope ya'll enjoy my shop.

Buy It - You would just make Mallory's day if you went and purchased something from one of her her shops. I can tell you from personal experience with her that you will not be disappointed!
You also get extra entries if you purchase something.

Win It - See this beautiful, beautiful spoon rest above? Mallory has been kind enough to offer this as a giveaway. Mallory has also told me that she is willing to ship ANYWHERE so that means this giveaway is open to international readers too. Thank you Mallory!

Mandatory Entry (must be done before any other entries count) - You need to visit Shaping Lives Pottery and come back here leaving me a comment of your favorite item in her shop.

YOU MUST LEAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR COMMENT SO I CAN CONTACT YOU IF YOU ARE THE WINNER!

1. Become a follower of my blog or tell me your a follower - (3) entries

6. Blog about giveaway and come back leaving me the link - (5) entries
