I have to say the item I received from Bitty Clippies to review was the first product I have received that brought me to tears. I went on a search one day for adoption jewelry because being an adoptive mom myself, I know how hard it is to find good adoption jewelry. Bitty Clippies offer many other items too but they do have a couple of great adoption necklaces.

Bitty Clippies sent me the necklace below and the words mean sooooo much. As a mother to a child with multiple special needs the words "life gave me the gift of you" means so much. I can't imagine life without my little miracle child from the other side of the world and I'm so glad his birthparents chose life for him.

I asked Bitty Clippies some things about their shop and this it what they had to say:

When did you open your Etsy shop? I opened my etsy shop in April of 2008 just before I was due to have my 5th child. Crazy time to start a business I know! Lol! I actually started on etsy selling hair clips. I was doing "ok" with it, but there was SO much competition (plus the new baby!) that I just stopped listing for quite a while.
How did you get started making stamped jewelry? I've made jewelry for myself and as gifts for family and friends for years. What inspired me to get into the hand stamped jewelry was a bracelet I received for my birthday from a friend of mine. It had all my kids names on it and I was so touched! I wanted to know how she made it and once I started researching it and found suppliers I knew I had found my calling. To make things for people with their loved ones names, fingerprints or special sayings is wonderful. Knowing that I've been a part of something that means so much to the recipient is a great feeling.

It's not easy finding good adoption jewelry, can you tell me about your adoption pieces? My adoption pieces are extra special to me because I'm an adoptive mom. We brought our oldest daughter home from Korea nearly 10 years ago. Boy does time fly!! She's such a special little girl and to be honest with you (as I'm sure all adoptive moms would agree with!) I never think of her as being adopted. She's just mine :) I haven't seen much in the way of adoption pieces so I love that I can offer these to people.

Do you take custom orders? I love to do custom orders! To see a piece come together when working with someone is so satisfying. I've even had people draw things out for me.

What is your favorite item in your shop? My favorite piece is my "all in the family" fingerprint necklace. It never leaves my neck :)
